Job Summary
Communicate with utility customers, stakeholders, and line clearance vendors to inform property owners of impending vegetation management via face-to-face interactions or door hanger cards. Answer customer inquiries regarding utility vegetation management, refer unresolved complaints to appropriate personnel, and inspect electric utility hardware for potential hazards. Work independently in varied terrain and inclement weather to manage a geographical area for all vegetation-related activities, including assisting in storm restoration efforts when called upon. Report to the Notification Supervisor and may require nights, weekends, and travel using a company-provided pickup truck or 4x4.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years of experience in lieu of a High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to travel as needed
- Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed
- Must be comfortable driving a pickup truck or 4x4 off-road vehicle
- Must be able to calmly communicate with customer conflicts
- Drug/alcohol testing is required

- One year of utility related experience
