Job Summary
Assistant Baker at Nothing Bundt Cakes assists the baker with preparing raw ingredients and equipment, places cake pans into ovens, monitors baking, cools and packages cakes, maintains rotation standards and logs for baking, refrigeration and wastage; handles inventory and organization of the chiller, washes utensils and tools, sanitizes workstations, cleans floors and drains, restocks supplies, completes opening/closing checklists, and ensures health and safety standards. The role requires basic reading of recipes/procedures in English and Spanish, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, operate commercial bakery equipment, and work in a fast-paced production environment. Applicants must be 17+ and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends; prior bakery/foodservice experience is a plus. Education is not required; a Washington State Food Handlers permit is required.
