Job Summary
Lead a substantial portfolio of charity, academy, and not for profit audit clients while acting as a trusted adviser to trustees, finance directors, and governing bodies. Oversee audit planning, delivery, and quality control across the portfolio, providing technical expertise on charity accounting and audit matters. Support and develop managers and senior members of the audit team, and identify opportunities to strengthen and expand the firm's not for profit offering. Play an active role in business development, networking, and client relationship management to help drive the continued growth of the service line.
Required Qualifications
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- extensive experience managing and leading charity and not for profit audits within practice
- Responsible Individual status or be working towards obtaining it
- strong technical knowledge of charity accounting regulations and auditing standards
- excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
