Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer role at Eurofins IT Solutions India (Bengaluru, KA) focusing on NoSQL databases, specifically Azure Cosmos DB and MongoDB, to design, implement, and optimize large-scale distributed data models for SaaS/enterprise applications. Responsibilities include architecting distributed data models, partitioning and indexing strategies, performance profiling and tuning, backup/restore and TTL data lifecycle management, automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for deployment, monitoring and scaling, and collaborating with DevOps and development teams to integrate data access layers and IaC templates. Required qualifications include a Bachelors in Engineering/CS or MCA, demonstrated Cosmos DB and MongoDB experience at scale, strong foundation in distributed systems, and proficiency with related tooling (Terraform, Azure Monitor, Ops Manager). Certifications in Azure Cosmos DB or MongoDB are a plus, with strong communication and problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- MCA or Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience with Cosmos DB and/or MongoDB at scale
- Strong foundation in distributed systems, NoSQL principles, and data architecture
- Experience with Cosmos DB and MongoDB in production
- Experience with automation scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for deployment, monitoring, and scaling
- Design & Architecture experience with distributed data models using Cosmos DB and MongoDB
- Experience with data migrations and data security/compliance (GDPR, HIPAA)
- Experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure infrastructure
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Eager to learn and continuously develop capabilities
