Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive musculoskeletal and neurologic examinations for patients with cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine conditions. Identify and triage spine red flags such as cauda equina or myelopathy, then develop and manage individualized, evidence-based non-operative treatment plans. Evaluate and treat acute and chronic neck and low back pain, radiculopathy, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, and sports- or work-related spine injuries. Serve as a front-line spine specialist emphasizing conservative treatment, appropriate imaging utilization, and timely referral to surgery or pain management when indicated. Support access optimization and value-based care initiatives within our interdisciplinary practice in Manhattan, NY.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in a Primary Care field
- Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of New York
