Job Summary
Assistant Boys Basketball Coach for the 2026-2027 school year at Northrop High School. Responsibilities include instructing and supervising all athletic practices and games, maintaining high expectations academically and athletically, collaborating with head coaches and assistants, and working with students, parents, teachers, and administrators. The candidate should have or be willing to obtain SPB/Minibus certification before the season, and if not an FWCS teacher, must be available 3:30 PM on weekdays. Preference for coaching at Northrop High School and for applicants who will be teaching there; FWCS teachers must fulfill daily contracted hours before coaching. Requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to communicate effectively, engage with students from multicultural backgrounds, and support a collaborative coaching environment.
Required Qualifications
- Prefer candidate who will be teaching at Northrop High School for the 2026-2027 school year.
- If applicant is a current FWCS teacher, the teacher must fulfill their daily contracted hours before coaching.
- If not an FWCS teacher, candidate must be available at 3:30 Monday through Friday afternoons.
- Valid Driver's License required.
