Job Summary
Assistant Kitchen Manager at Northern Taphouse Maple Grove. Responsible for all kitchen operations, supervising 15-20 staff across line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers; ensure safety and sanitation, housekeeping, and scratch-made production. Manages staffing, scheduling, financial goals, and staff development; leads with a focus on quality, handles emergencies, and works on the line with the team. Hours on the line, nights and weekends are mandatory. Compensation: $60,000-$65,000 plus bonus and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must have 1+ years of kitchen management experience in a full service, moderate to high volume restaurant.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Proven success driving sales, keeping labor and food costs in line, and culinary talent
- Proven success motivating teamwork and maintaining high retention rates
- US Foods ordering a plus
