Job Summary
Support operations by working alongside experienced tradespeople to build technical skills in Fixed Plant Electricians, Mechanics, Boilermakers, or Communication Technicians. Gain hands-on experience maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment while reading technical drawings and specifications. Complete a structured multi-year program with coursework toward trade certification and professional mentoring from supervisors. Choose between remote mine sites on a fly-in-fly-out basis or residential roles in Kalgoorlie-Boulder. Required Qualifications
- Trade discipline in one of the following: Fixed Plant Electricians, Fixed Plant Mechanics, Light Vehicle Mechanics, Fixed Plant Boilermakers, Heavy Diesel Mechanics, or Communication Technicians
- Trade certification coursework
- Ability to read and apply technical drawings and specifications
- Ability to safely maintain, repair and install equipment and infrastructure
- FIFO capability from Perth or residential availability in Kalgoorlie-Boulder area
- Valid driver's license (implied by FIFO/residential roles and vehicle mechanics)
- Ability to work in a remote mine site environment
- Ability to work weekend shifts (implied by FIFO and mining operations)
