Job Summary
Drive operational performance and brand consistency across a portfolio of Terry Black's Barbecue restaurants by serving as the primary liaison between store leadership and corporate. Provide direct, in-person support through regular site visits, coaching, and hands-on assistance during peak seasons or leadership transitions. Oversee financial targets for sales, labor, and COGS while collaborating with General Managers on forecasting and budgeting to improve margins. Recruit and develop high-performing store teams, conduct performance evaluations, and lead succession planning initiatives. Partner with Marketing, Training, and Human Resources to execute store-level campaigns, ensure effective onboarding, and manage workforce compliance. Uphold food quality, service excellence, and cleanliness standards while monitoring guest feedback to implement service recovery measures. Lead operational support for new store openings, including hiring, training, and pre-opening readiness, while contributing regional insights for future expansion.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 -10 years of multi-unit leadership experience within the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Demonstrated success in driving operational performance, financial results, and team development
- Strong business acumen with expertise in P&L management, labor modeling, and cost control
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to supporting teams in the field
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout the assigned region
