Job Summary
AECOM is hiring civil construction specialists in Queensland (Site Inspectors, Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Superintendents’ Representatives) to support a multi-year design and construction contract. Positions are based in Rockhampton, Townsville, Mackay or Cairns with hybrid/workable flexibility in some contexts. Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent) and have experience in civil infrastructure, construction, or water projects, with a strong understanding of Australian Standards. RPEQ registration or pathway, and desirable TMR accreditation or knowledge of major road authorities, are preferred. NDRRA experience and the ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholder groups are important. This role may be offered as full-time or contracting, with various opportunities described. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering (CA or Engineering roles)
- Experience in project delivery & site construction
- Proven project experience in civil infrastructure, construction, building works or water infrastructure
- Knowledge of Australian Standards and Policies
- RPEQ Registered Engineer (holding or eligible / on the pathway to obtain)
- TMR accreditation desirable or knowledge of VIC Roads, Transport for NSW, Main Roads WA
- NDRRA experience with QRA
- Ability to coordinate across complex stakeholder groups
- Based in Rockhampton, Townsville, Mackay or Cairns
