North American Transportation Yard Management Supervisor

North American Transportation Yard Management Supervisor responsible for optimizing trailer flow from Plant Bullpens to Plant Docks across Ford NA facilities. Establish performance standards, map SYM (Switching and Yard Management) processes, drive bullpen reduction actions to maintain capacity, and coordinate with Plant teams, Purchasing, and Finance to minimize Driver and Trailer Dwell and manage budgets. Author Statements of Work (SOW) for market tests, oversee shuttling invoice approvals, and collaborate with Ford Land to procure off-site lots. Lead business case work (PAR, MEARS, PO) with MFE and NAML Planning to ensure bullpen capacity and equipment funding for new model programs. Drive digital transformation by partnering with Ford IT and vendors to deploy PINC Yard Management System (YMS) across NA, deploying hardware enablers like FastGate and MRTs, and integrating Rack Tendering processes while training Ford, Penske, and plant personnel. Maintain compliance with Ford’s Anti-Harassment (B-110) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies and foster a diverse and inclusive culture.
