Job Summary
Create an engaging and safe learning environment for individuals, families, and groups while delivering high-quality instruction in classic and skate skiing techniques. Clearly communicate with students, parents, supervisors, and fellow instructors, adapting to all winter conditions and maintaining a positive, guest-focused attitude. Assist guests in properly fitting and sizing Nordic rental equipment and support retail and rental operations during downtime or peak periods. Inspire a love for the sport by leading with passion, patience, and professionalism. Full-time seasonal team members enjoy free all-mountain ski passes, lodging discounts, and wellness days.
Desired Qualifications
- PSIA Level 1 certification
- PSIA Level 2 or 3 certification
- International equivalent of PSIA Level 2 or 3 certification
- At least two seasons of previous instructing experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Natural talent for guest service
- Confidence and comfort working in cold, snowy, and changing mountain environments
- Enthusiasm for the sport
- Desire to grow your own skills
- Genuine love for teaching
