Job Summary
Director of Health Services responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care and services for residents in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. Oversees nursing staff, conducts rounds to monitor quality and appropriateness of care, maintains documentation for care, medications, and treatments, assists with hiring and training of staff, develops staffing plans and nursing schedules, collaborates with the Executive Director on relationships with residents’ families and care providers, evaluates residents’ care needs, and manages clinical aspects of state/federal surveys. Requires RN licensure and accredited nursing education, with preferred two years of management/supervisory experience in long-term or acute care, and preferred restorative/geriatric experience; strong computer skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of two years' management or supervisory experience in long-term or acute care (preferred)
- Restorative or geriatric nursing experience (preferred)
- Must possess advanced computer skills
