Job Summary
Monitor cafeteria, hall, and outside recess areas during student lunch hours while assisting students with simple food-related activities. Ensure a safe, conducive environment with acceptable noise levels through consistent interaction with students and staff. Attend all mandatory meetings, events, or trainings and perform other duties as assigned by the Building Principal. This role supports the district's mission to empower every student daily within Tecumseh Public Schools.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable method of transportation
- High moral character, integrity, and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day with frequent prolonged standing/walking/moving
- Must be able to read and speak English
- Must be able to see, hear, and move intermittently or use prosthetics
