Noon Hour Aide

Guide groups of students to and from the lunchroom, classroom, and play area while monitoring behavior and providing appropriate discipline. Assist younger children with lunch trays, milk, condiments, and cleaning up spills or trash. Help wash tables, pick up floor debris, and ready condiments between sessions. Supervise students for safety and appropriate behavior on the playground, circulate to resolve minor problems, and maintain a cooperative atmosphere during recess. Ensure students receive adequate lunch breaks while providing school supervision. Requires standing and walking throughout buildings, lifting up to 20 pounds frequently and 40 pounds occasionally. High school diploma or GED required.
