Job Summary
Monitor student activities and manage cafeteria operations before, during, and after lunch sessions at Trailwoods Elementary. Assist children entering the cafeteria in an orderly fashion, receive them from teachers, and ensure each student receives utensils, milk, juice, and other supplies. Verify that children empty their trays and line up for recess or subsequent activities at appointed times. Report 30 minutes prior to the first session and remain 30 minutes after the last to maintain cleanliness and order. This part-time role involves supporting staff and students while working 10 months per year with varying hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Must report 30 minutes prior to the first lunch session and remain 30 after the last session
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, speak, hear, use hands, fingers, reach with hands and fingers
- Must be able to bend, stoop, lift objects of at least ten pounds
- Job requires the employee occasionally to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Visual ability requires mono and color vision, close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
