Full-time Non-Traditional and Military-Connected Student Retention Specialist at UW-Platteville Wright Center, partnering with academic advisors and campus personnel to identify risk indicators, perform outreach and individualized success planning, monitor academic progress, provide guidance and referrals, and serve as a back-up School Certifying Official for military education benefits; focus on retention and transfer support for military-connected, adult, and veteran students; requires Bachelor's degree and strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- Familiarity with internal and external customer service principles
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective and positive working relationships
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to think creatively and strategically
