Job Summary
The position involves teaching up to 7 undergraduate or graduate Semester Credit Hours (SCH) per semester on a part-time, non-tenure track basis. Responsibilities include maintaining student records, posting grades, submitting attendance, mentoring students, holding office hours, and attending departmental meetings as necessary. Required qualifications include a relevant graduate degree, knowledge of various teaching methods, effective communication skills, and the ability to multitask. Preferred qualifications include prior collegiate teaching experience and familiarity with online learning systems.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate or master’s degree in the teaching discipline for undergraduate courses
- Master’s degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (minimum of 18 graduate SCH) for undergraduate courses
- Earned doctorate/terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline for graduate coursework
Desired Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level
- Knowledge of online learning management systems
