Job Summary
Non-Technical Project/Program Management role guiding defined project and program objectives, ensuring outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource planning are completed; ensuring adherence to product/process specifications, costs, and timeliness; maintaining project/program documentation and proper dissemination of information; ensuring compliance with engineering/notebook, patents, confidentiality, and safety policies; optimizing use of material and financial resources; collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize productivity; leading research and development of new technologies and integrating new processes or methodologies into Applied Materials products/services; this role may involve standing, walking, working in tight spaces, and travel up to 50% in roles based in Austin, TX or Santa Clara, CA. Additional competencies include technical leadership, strategic problem solving, risk management, and the ability to persuade senior stakeholders to adopt new approaches.
