Job Summary
Role Summary: The Change Management Specialist supports the successful delivery of critical global initiatives across AGS Field Service Operations by driving adoption, readiness, and sustained change. This role is to partner closely with program teams, field leadership, and stakeholders to apply structured, Prosci-based change management practices that enable people-side adoption and business outcomes. While the core focus of this role is program delivery, the Change Management Specialist also contributes to the continued maturation of change management practices across GPA and the broader Field Service organization through shared learnings and peer collaboration. Key Focus Areas include Program-Embedded Change Delivery, Sponsor & Manager Enablement, Field-Focused Communications & Readiness, Adoption Measurement & Reinforcement, Capability Building & Community Contribution. Responsibilities encompass stakeholder, impact, and risk assessments; developing and executing integrated change plans (communications, training, readiness, reinforcement); partnering with Program Managers, Product Owners, SMEs, and Regional stakeholders; coaching executives and people managers; designing clear change communications and aligning training for a global population; tracking adoption and readiness indicators; contributing to standards and playbooks; sharing insights with the change management community. Qualifications & Experience specify Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3+ years in change management, Prosci/ADKAR proficiency, and global/matrixed experience. Travel and relocation eligibility are noted; benefits and compensation discussed. This is a full-time role within Applied Materials’ AGS Field Service Operations – Strategy Program Office (SPO) / Global Program Acceleration (GPA). The salary range is $101,000–$139,000 with additional compensation considerations such as bonus and stock programs as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of relevant change management experience delivering change management for complex, cross-functional initiatives; operational or field-facing environments preferred
- Prosci certification strongly preferred; demonstrated applied experience with Prosci methodology and ADKAR required
- Experience working in global, matrixed organizations with diverse stakeholder groups
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear, actionable messaging
- Proven ability to influence without authority and partner effectively across functions and regions
- Travel: 10% of the Time
