Job Summary
Direct supervision and daily oversight of youth in a non-secure detention setting, ensuring safety and maintenance of routines. Responsibilities include taking residents to school and assisting with homework, monitoring during activities and shifts, transporting youth to court and other destinations, assisting with meal preparation, and preparing regular written reports (logs and critical incident reports). The role requires completing Safety Crisis Management training, operating standard office equipment, and strong English writing and communication skills. The position is full-time with shifts consistent with program needs and located in East Elmhurst, NY.
Required Qualifications
