Job Summary

Collect and analyze data in the lab or field, including conducting data entry, validation, and literature reviews. Travel to domestic and regional research sites to support activities such as focus group facilitation, environmental scans, community forums, and consenting individuals. Assist with outreach via mailings and website management while maintaining research integrity and exercising discretion with sensitive information. Perform routine duties as directed under supervision of Dr. Emily Huang in the Huang Safety Climate Lab. Requires enrollment in an undergraduate program with minimum 6 credit hours and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Required Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered in an Undergraduate program (minimum 6 credit hours)
  • Experience with the technical side of public health and medicine
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Exceptional organizational skills and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to be self-motivated, prioritize effectively, and achieve deadlines
  • Ability to gather, compile, analyze and maintain information from a variety of sources, including research publications and web sources
  • Ability to exercise discretion when dealing with issues of a sensitive nature and to maintain research integrity

Desired Qualifications

  • Student currently working on a bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in research
  • Knowledge of web development, cloud systems, and AI-enabled applications
  • Ability to understand and explain technical language/systems
  • Experience using Microsoft Azure
