Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive non-invasive cardiology practice, including inpatient CCU/consultative services and outpatient care. Interpret stress testing, ECGs, and ambulatory rhythm monitoring. Perform advanced echocardiography, including transesophageal and stress echocardiography, with opportunities for cardiac imaging such as nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI. Supervise and teach cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students through an academic partnership with the University of Colorado School of Medicine. This role offers a faculty appointment at an academic rank commensurate with experience and qualifications. The position is full-time within a multidisciplinary group of 12 cardiologists and 8 advanced practice providers delivering the full spectrum of cardiovascular care.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Level II echocardiography training
- Commitment to team-based care and service to a diverse, multicultural patient population
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced echocardiographic expertise (3D echo, strain imaging)
- Level III echocardiography and/or NBE certification
- Certification in nuclear cardiology and/or cardiac CT
- Procedural TEE experience
