Job Summary
Academic non-invasive cardiology physician sought to join an employed academic group affiliated with Creighton SOM. The faculty member will oversee training of future fellows, medical students, and residents at an on-campus academic health center, participate in clinical teaching, and engage in clinical research opportunities with available support. The role includes a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities with a single clinic location on campus, access to full support staff, and opportunities to expand into structural and interventional fields while maintaining a strong work-life balance in a growing city. The candidate should be BE/BC in Cardiovascular Disease, have echocardiography experience, and obtain Arizona medical licensure for hospital privileges. The position is within Dignity Health Medical Group in Arizona.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO Degree
- Cardiovascular Disease (Board Certified/Board Eligible)
- Echocardiography (BC/BE)
- Nuclear experience preferred
- Academic experience in teaching residents and/or cardiology fellows preferred
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
- Must obtain Arizona State medical licensure before starting in the position
