Job Summary
Oversee diagnostic cardiac procedures including TEE, cardioversions, nuclear stress tests, echocardiograms, cardiac MRI, and CCTA. Interpret results while collaborating with the full cardiology team, interventionalists, and advanced practice providers. Manage a four-day work week with no call and no inpatient consults. This role supports UNC Health Appalachian's mission in Boone, NC, serving the Blue Ridge Mountains community and Appalachian State University.
Required Qualifications
- Must work well with full Cardiology team that includes Interventional Cardiologists, Invasive & Non-Invasive Cardiologists as well as excellent APP's
- Looking for a physician that can oversee diagnostic cardiac procedures: TEE & Cardioversions
- Incoming physician must be able to interpret Nuclear Stress Tests & Echo's
- 4-day work week
- No Call
- No Inpatient Consults
Desired Qualifications
- EPIC experience a plus
- Interpret Cardiac MRI and/or CCTA a plus
