Job Summary
Conduct full-spectrum non-invasive cardiology practice across Canton-Potsdam, Massena, and Gouverneur hospitals, combining outpatient and inpatient responsibilities with outreach clinic coverage. Interpret and perform echocardiography, nuclear cardiology studies, stress testing, and EKGs, while providing shared 1:4 call rotation consisting primarily of phone consultations with Emergency Department physicians and Hospitalists. Serve as a foundational leader in expanding cardiovascular services and developing regional referral pathways within a medically underserved area. Join the Sands-Constellation Heart Institute to collaborate with system-wide specialty teams, hospital medicine, and primary care networks.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Board Eligibility required within 5 years of fellowship completion
- Commitment to compassionate, evidence-based patient care
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Interest in clinical leadership, collaboration, and program development
- Full-spectrum non-invasive cardiology practice
- Combination of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
- Outreach clinic coverage within the region
- Interpretation and performance of Echocardiography
- Interpretation and performance of Nuclear cardiology studies
