Job Summary
Diagnose and manage complex cardiovascular diseases as a BC/BE cardiologist within a fully integrated cardiology clinic and cardiovascular center. Provide compassionate general cardiology care to patients and families while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team at one hospital site. Maintain an optimized workload featuring a balanced schedule with just five days of call per month, ensuring no clinic responsibilities during call periods. This role is part of Centennial Shaw Heart and Vascular Specialists, a department of CHI Mercy Health recognized as the first hospital west of Texas to achieve American College of Cardiology's Accreditation for Cardiovascular Excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine
- Have or obtain an Oregon medical license and DEA certificate
- Specialty training at an ACGME accredited facility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
