Job Summary
Conduct clinical evaluations and interpret echocardiograms for patients with heart failure and general cardiology conditions. Lead research initiatives focused on clinical studies and healthcare disparities within the Division of Cardiology. Maintain board certification or eligibility and hold an MD, MD/PhD, or MD/MPH degree for appointment in the Adjunct, In-residence, HS Clinical, or Clinical X series. Compensation ranges from $131,200 to $344,400 based on rank and step under the posted UC salary scales, with eligibility for additional compensation through the health sciences plan.
Required Qualifications
- board-certified/board-eligible (or equivalent) Cardiologist
- MD, MD/PhD, or MD/MPH degree(s)
- qualified for an appointment in the Adjunct, In-residence, HS Clinical, or Clinical X series
- experience in a variety of clinical disciplines in Cardiology
