Job Summary
Monitor the activities of students in the cafeteria and/or on the playground to provide for the safety and welfare of students; counsel and/or intervene to ensure acceptable behavior; report observations and/or incidents to appropriate school personnel; respond to emergencies to address immediate safety concerns; assist students during lunchtime; perform routine cleaning tasks; maintain regular and on-time attendance; assist with other assigned duties as appropriate to the area of assignment and Mesa Public Schools; demonstrate effective communication with students, parents and staff and enforce school rules; requires high school education and at least 18 years old with experience supervising children.
