Job Summary
Non-Instructional Assistant for Cafeteria and/or Playground at Hale Elementary School. Part-time role (10.75 hours/week) focusing on monitoring student activities in cafeteria and playground, counseling/intervening to ensure appropriate behavior, reporting incidents to school personnel, responding to emergencies, assisting during lunchtime, and performing routine cleaning tasks. Requires high school education or equivalent and experience working with children; ability to manage small groups, communicate effectively, and uphold school policies. Regular attendance and willingness to perform additional duties as needed are expected.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience working with and/or supervising children
- Ability to manage small groups of children
- Ability to enforce school and/or district rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with students, parents and staff
