Job Summary
The Non Ferrous Supervisor will lead a team responsible for identifying, sorting, and processing nonferrous scrap material, ensuring production and quality goals are communicated effectively. Requires at least 1 year of experience in grading nonferrous materials and a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role. Responsibilities include scheduling, equipment training, safety inspections, and maintaining production documentation. Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent and the ability to learn new tasks. Compliance with safety regulations is essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED Certification, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years Non Ferrous supervisor experience
- 1+ years previous experience identifying and grading nonferrous materials
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus
- Ability to use a computer tablet
- Ability to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form
- Ability to learn new tasks as assigned
