Job Summary
MS Head / HS Assistant Boys Tennis Coach for the Fall season (beginning July 2026) to develop student athletes within a team context aligned with CCS's mission. Responsibilities include evaluating individual student athletes, developing coaching plans, collaborating with other coaches, building skills through structured training and positive reinforcement, proactively communicating with students and parents about expectations and schedules, supervising athletes, managing equipment and uniforms, attending all games (home and away) and post-season events, setting up facilities for practices and events, conducting pre-season conditioning, and potentially operating school vehicles for travel. The role supports the school’s Christian mission and requires prior coaching/playing experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Employment is part-time and seasonal, with potential driving responsibilities subject to CCS MVR guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous coaching and/or playing experience at the High School level
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to drive a school vehicle if required (valid driver's license and MVR compliance)
- Personal faith in Jesus Christ and agreement with CCS Statement of Faith
