Job Summary
Operate heavy-duty trucks with front, side, or rear-end load lift attachments to transport waste or recyclable material to disposal, transfer, or recycle facilities. Navigate high-traffic roadways, driveways, alleyways, and lots while performing highly skilled backing maneuvers. Conduct pre and post-trip inspections, document checks, and complete end-of-day documentation. Report unsafe situations, service interruptions, or incidents to Route Manager or Dispatch. Communicate customer requests and follow route assignments as directed. Requires a Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A or B with an air-brake endorsement, English proficiency, and ability to work in safety-sensitive environments.
Required Qualifications
- Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
- Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical
- Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A with an air-brake endorsement or Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class B with an air-brake endorsement
