Job Summary
Provide independent oversight and strategic direction to the Board, participating actively in meetings to review corporate strategy, financial performance, and long-term business plans. Advise management on capital allocation, mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring while ensuring compliance with governance principles and regulatory obligations. Leverage an extensive professional network to support institutional fundraising, equity and debt capital raising, and the identification of strategic funding partners. Monitor operational and financial risks to promote ethical leadership and sound corporate governance, representing the organization at high-level engagements with investors and regulators.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 20 Years
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline
- Proven experience as a Senior Investment Banker
- Proven experience as a Private Equity Executive
- Proven experience as a Corporate Finance Adviser
- Proven experience as a Former Bank Executive
- Proven experience as an Investment Executive
- Proven experience as a Capital Markets Professional
- Demonstrated success in Institutional Fundraising
- Demonstrated success in Equity Capital Raising
- Demonstrated success in Debt Financing
- Demonstrated success in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Demonstrated success in Strategic Financial Advisory
- Demonstrated success in Banking & Investor Relations
- Previous Board or Non-Executive Director experience is highly desirable
Desired Qualifications
- MBA, Master's degree, or other postgraduate qualification
- Professional memberships such as ICAN, ACCA, CFA, CIS, CIBN, or equivalent
- Previous Board or Non-Executive Director experience
