Job Summary
Provide local non-emergency patient transportation to increase access to medical care. Operate wheelchair lifts and secure patients and wheelchairs, deliver riders to appointments, and assist with basic medical interventions (CPR, First Aid, AED) when necessary. Maintain safe vehicle operation, follow schedules, report unusual situations, and maintain logs. Interact with patients in a courteous, professional manner and ensure timely transport to destinations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Valid driver's license
- Must obtain BLS from AHA within 6 months of hire
