Job Summary

Provide comprehensive adult inpatient and transitional care medicine while supervising residents and medical students in a teaching hospital setting. Manage patient admissions, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary consultations across emergency, medical-surgical, ICU, and behavioral health units. Deliver direct patient care, perform history and physicals, and ensure accurate documentation in alignment with residency standards and cultural humility. Supervise resident learning through bedside teaching, chart reviews, and formative feedback on clinical reasoning and communication skills. Deliver primary care services in an ambulatory clinic, including assessments, referrals, minor procedures, and medication dispensing. Maintain current licensure, complete required immunizations, and participate in safety initiatives and quality improvement programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy
  • D. (Doctor of Medicine) or D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine)
  • Board certified or board eligible
  • Maintain current registration/licensure as a physician in the state of Washington
  • Clinical teaching and supervision experience
  • Adult inpatient experience
  • Demonstrated operating knowledge of computers
  • Intermediate level ability with Word, Outlook and other required software programs
  • Proof of vaccination for COVID-19
  • Proof of immunizations and/or immunity to MMR (measles, mumps, rubella)
  • Proof of immunizations and/or immunity to Varicella
  • Annual Influenza immunization
  • TB QuantiFERON Gold Titer
  • Tdap (within last 10 years)
  • Hepatitis B
