Non-Competition Venue Dressing Manager

Job Summary

Oversee turnkey planning and delivery of dressing and signage for non-competition venues including Team Base Camps, VIP Hotels, and Accreditation Centres across the FIFA Women's World Cup Brazil 2027. Manage contracted provider operations and monitor budgetary spend while ensuring all project deliverables meet FIFA quality standards. Collaborate with Venue Management and functional area leaders to maintain consistency and input into strategic decisions. Liaise with non-competition owners to approve implementation plans and present updates to senior management. The role may require relocation to a Host City for up to three months during event periods.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience in delivering dressing, signage, branding or look projects for events of a similar scale to FIFA World Cups, Olympic Games etc.
  • A minimum 4 years' experience managing major sports events in a role that included the delivery of comprehensive dressing or signage related activities
  • A working understanding of the technical aspects of delivering dressing and signage projects (i.e. production methods, installation techniques, materials etc.)
  • Budget management experience on complex and multi-faceted events and projects
  • Experience in managing providers of services for world-class events
  • Knowledge of event planning, requirements and event project management processes for large sporting events
  • Significant stakeholder management experience across multiple organizations and departments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and implement effective solutions
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in appropriate subject (or adequate training/vocational education) Design, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
  • Readiness to learn new technology processes, systems and programs
  • Right to work in Brazil
  • Bilingual – Brazilian Portuguese and English
  • Ability to re-locate to Rio de Janeiro
  • Must be able to attend site visits and be away from home for periods of time, including on-site attendance during the tournament period

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to possibly be relocated to a Host City for up to three months in to act as a Dressing and Signage Venue Manager at an allocated stadium during the event periods
