Job Summary
Conduct security patrols for property management firms, hotels, school districts, and municipalities across Austin, San Antonio, and surrounding areas. Maintain Level II Non-Commissioned TX DPS certification, perform 24x7 support operations with dispatch and field supervisors, and ensure situational awareness while following detailed instructions. Work all shifts including weekends and overnight hours, with preference given to veterans, former law enforcement, or those with prior patrol experience. Candidates must be physically fit, over 23, possess a clean criminal history, and type at 20 wpm. Full-time and part-time roles offer health insurance reimbursement up to $300 monthly, time-and-a-half overtime, holiday pay, and on-time compensation.
Required Qualifications
- MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL SHIFTS INCLUDING WEEKENDS AND OVERNIGHT HOURS
- High School Diploma/GED
- LEVEL II NON-COMMISSION TX DPS
- Currently Commissioned with DPS and have an active and un-expired license
- Have at least 1 year of verifiable FULL TIME security experience
- Have 3 work references
- Have no disqualifying criminal history
- Be over 23 years of age
- Must be physically fit and capable of performing the tasks required of the position
- Must have and maintain a neat and professional appearance
- Must be able to follow detailed instruction
- Must have a strong aptitude for safety and situational awareness
- Must be able to type on a computer at least 20wpm
- Speak and be proficient at writing in English
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be available to start training within 2 weeks or less of hiring
