Job Summary
Non-Commercial Program Driver for Adult Day Services in Riverside (Mon-Fri 8:00 am–4:00 pm). Safely operates non-commercial paratransit vehicles (up to 10,000 lbs) to transport adults with disabilities to designated sites and outings, performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintains logs, ensures passenger safety and courteous service, and adheres to applicable safety and vehicle-code regulations. Requires valid Class C license, CHP VDDP certification within 4 months, and completion of behind-the-wheel training within 4 months; CPR/First Aid certification provided post-hire. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Valid Class C driver’s license
- Ability to obtain CHP VDDP driver certification within 4 months
- Ability to successfully complete behind-the-wheel training and skills assessment within 4 months
- Experience operating multi-passenger vehicles up to 10,000 lbs
- Ability to pass background checks and fingerprint clearance
- CPR and First Aid Certification (can be obtained post-hire)
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to work Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, with flexibility for events
