Job Summary
Inspect and service vehicles delivered to the dealer; perform minor repairs or adjustments to place vehicles in saleable condition. Sign acceptance for each vehicle, inspect for safety/regulatory compliance and visible defects, test engine, brakes, steering and operation, and install or repair equipment using hand tools. Training and OEM certification support provided; opportunities to advance into service, sales, management, regional, and executive roles across AutoNation's nationwide locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6-12 months of previous work experience
- General mechanical skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
- Manual dexterity, good judgment and ability to operate power and hand tools and other types of machinery safely
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
