Job Summary
Snowboard instructor role teaching group and private lessons to guests of all ages at a mountain resort. Responsibilities include delivering world-class guest service, creating a safe and fun learning environment, scanning and assisting with lift operations, equipment fitting, and providing feedback to inspire lifelong snowboarders. Requires fluency in English, ability to work weekends/holidays, and comfort snowboarding on groomed blue terrain; position supports across multiple departments and offers seasonal winter employment with varying hours.
Required Qualifications
- Must be comfortable and competent snowboarding on groomed blue terrain
- Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English
- Must be willing to work weekends/holidays and meet minimum scheduling requirements
- Must be comfortable being in snowboard boots for extended period of time
- Placement as an instructor is contingent upon successfully completing training and meeting the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards
- As a Non-Certified Snowboard Instructor, you have the ability to be a flexible employee who works across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one-resort mentality
- Minors hired into this position will not be asked or permitted to engage in any activities restricted to adult workers
- The expected pay range is $20.00/hr
