Job Summary
Check resident temperatures, assist with room changes, and help residents reposition, transfer, and ambulate throughout the community. Provide daily living support including bed baths, dressing, bathroom care, and mealtime assistance while responding to call lights for safety and privacy. Transport residents to dining areas and activities, manage medication passes with proper documentation, and maintain infection control standards. Build positive relationships through meaningful conversation and companionship while respecting resident rights, confidentiality, and dignity. Complete mandatory in-services and Relias trainings promptly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language
- Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergencies
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic with a strong desire to help others
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with residents, families, and coworkers
- Must demonstrate empathy, courteous, kind, and professional workplace behavior and customer service to all residents, Care Team Members, vendors, visitors, and family members
