Job Summary
Non-Cert Patient Care Technician position at AdventHealth in Orlando. Responsibilities include assisting in the delivery of patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse, accurately performing vital signs and documenting in the electronic medical record, following policy and procedure, participating in practice changes and quality initiatives, observing CDC isolation guidelines and proper PPE use, maintaining a safe clean environment, communicating effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team, and may perform point-of-care testing based on competency and hospital policy. The role emphasizes adherence to core values and continuous skill upgrade within a faith-based health care setting. Schedule is Full time, Day shift. Education and licensure requirements include High School Grad or Equiv and BLS; CNA, CPCT/A, and EMT are preferred. Pay range listed from $15.87 to $25.38 per hour.
