Job Summary
Pick up and transport students to and from school, activities, and field trips while supervising boarding, unloading, and seatbelt usage. Maintain order on the bus, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of brakes, lights, tires, and emergency exits, and report mechanical issues promptly. Keep the vehicle clean and sanitary, obey all traffic laws and safety standards, and communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch regarding student behavior or delays. This part-time role offers split shifts on weekdays only, with guaranteed minimum hours and a sign-on bonus. Training for a Commercial Driver's License is provided, and the position supports retirees, stay-at-home parents, and veterans seeking flexible daytime work.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license for at least 3 years
- English proficiency
- Valid Class B License
- History driving with ride share companies or taxi services
- Previous experience as a teacher, CDL driver, social worker, classroom assistant, hospitality worker, or customer service or retail associate
