Job Summary
Deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities while building customer relationships. Unload cases weighing up to 100 lbs throughout your local route and operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds. Maintain a clean driving record and pass a drug test and background check. Obtain a full CDL A within 90 days of hire. Work Monday through Friday starting at 6:00 AM.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- One year of previous driving experience
- One year experience in customer service or related field
- Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- CDL A required at hire or within 90 days of start
- A CDL temp permit minimum requirement at hire providing the applicant meets all DOT requirements at hire and obtains full CDL A no later than the 90th day of employment
- Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana)
- Background check
- Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
