Job Summary
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, including tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. Drive to destinations on company property, scale heavy and light loads, and operate hydraulic powered lifts for loading and unloading. Maintain daily logs, record tickets, and write work orders as needed to maintain and repair vehicles. Communicate via radio with other drivers and personnel, ensure proper housekeeping inside and out, and pick up fallen debris on transportation lanes. Adhere to Federal, State, and Local traffic rules while following all company safety policies and PPE requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1 year of driving experience, training, or a combination
- Class A license
- Must be able to operate Manual Transmission Vehicles
- Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner
