Job Summary
This Non-CDL Driver position is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to customer sites, maintaining scheduled routes, and loading/unloading goods using vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating of less than 26,001 lbs. The role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and exceptional customer service skills. Candidates must possess strong communication abilities and general knowledge of vehicle maintenance. Physical demands include prolonged sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing vehicle inspections. The work environment varies from outdoor conditions to warehouse settings.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- Valid Driver’s License with a minimum of 2 years driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Basic Computer Skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- General knowledge of vehicle inspection and maintenance
- General understanding of proper load securement
- Proficient using GPS and other routing systems
- Ability to drive or sit for long hours at a time
- Good communication skills with internal and external customers
- High degree of teamwork with customers, peers, and managers
- General competencies skills in smartphone use
