Job Summary
Operate safely and efficiently to deliver raw materials and smaller orders to customer sites; secure and organize loads, verify order accuracy, and complete delivery paperwork. Maintain daily equipment inspections, assist in unloading materials, and provide excellent customer service while following supervisor guidance and workplace safety policies. May be subject to DOT/FMCSA jurisdictions and driver qualification requirements; this entry-level non-CDL driver role emphasizes loading/unloading, load verification, and basic math and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of experience driving trucks required
- DL/Driver License in-state
- Ability to do basic math and read orders
- Proficiency with GPS and smartphone
- Recordkeeping and paperwork completion
- Ability to unload material and assist in yard/warehouse housekeeping
