Job Summary
Safely operate and maneuver delivery vehicles to transport beverages to designated retail locations, following predetermined routes and schedules while adapting to traffic and weather conditions. Load, unload, and stock beverage products at each stop, maintaining proper handling techniques to prevent damage. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance or safety issues, and utilize electronic devices to confirm deliveries, track inventory, and maintain accurate records. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and interact professionally with store personnel to establish positive relationships. Complete all assigned training and attend meetings as directed. Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM or until routes are finished. Pay is $24.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or GED)
- Must maintain a valid state-issued driver's license
- driving record must meet Swire's vehicle policy requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to operate portable scanner & printer
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
- flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, routes, and delivery demands
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- physical capability to lift and move heavy beverage cases repeatedly throughout the day
- Excellent navigation skills
- the ability to read and interpret maps or GPS systems
