Job Summary
Drive delivery vehicles to transport materials, supplies, or equipment while ensuring equipment is configured to the bill of lading. Load, secure, and deliver materials in a safe and timely manner, completing and processing all required paperwork. Maintain a safe vehicle by complying with government regulatory laws, recognizing maintenance problems during operator inspections, and reporting technical issues to the supervisor. Operate the vehicle in all traffic and road conditions using defensive driving techniques to select alternate routes and avoid hazards. Read road maps to determine the shortest and safest routes, load cargo properly with appropriate tie-downs, and adjust driving methods to surrounding traffic practices. Requires a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and ability to read and understand road maps.
Required Qualifications
- Must have valid Drivers License and acceptable driving record upon review
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
